Built from 1928 to 1929 to a design by Giuseppe Terragni, it represents one of the earliest examples of modern architecture in Italy.<br\/>It takes its name from the real estate company Novocomum of Olgiate Comasco, which realised the building.<br\/>The five-storey building above ground is constructed in the form of an inverted \u2018C\u2019.
