Inaugurated in 1936, the building was used as the headquarters of the National Fascist Party until 1945, when the city of Como was liberated from the fascist regime.<br\/>Later, the building was used by the parties of the National Liberation Committee. Since 1957, it has been the headquarters of the VI Legion of the Guardia di Finanza.<br\/>Palazzo Terragni is considered one of the masterpieces of Italian rationalism. The four-storey building has a square shape. The fa\u00e7ade is clad in marble and features concrete pillars and large glazed openings.
