Lake Como Creativity Week 2026
From 28 September to 4 October 2026, Lake Como Creativity Week returns – the inclusive, participatory week-long programme organised by UNESCO Creative City of Como, dedicated to creativity and the connections between institutions, businesses, associations, cultural organisations, professionals, young talents and communities.
Threads of Creation
Conceived by Como City Council and the Como-Lecco Chamber of Commerce, Lake Como Creativity Week 2026 is now firmly established for the third consecutive year as an integral part of the “Destination Como – UNESCO Creative City” project.
Exhibitions, workshops, talks, performances and cultural events come together in a shared programme centred around seven days of initiatives across the Como area.
The 2026 theme
Threads of Creation portrays Como as a city built through intertwining, layering and cross-fertilisation.
The region’s textile heritage serves as a metaphor for a broader creative ecosystem, in which art, design, architecture, music, craftsmanship, innovation and culture represent distinct threads within a shared fabric.
From 28 September to 4 October 2026, Como will thus become a vast, sprawling loom: each initiative will help to weave a network of relationships, ideas and communities around Lake Como.
